Summary: Uncontrolled anger can be unproductive and dangerous, especially when it becomes physical and is directed toward others. Men who learn to control their anger and use it in a positive fashion are more successful in reaching their goals. This multi-week group, led by Carmen Turner, LCSW-C, will explore the causes of anger in men and ways of controlling negative outcomes. Participants will be expected to attend all sessions and group size will be limited. Pre-registration is required.

Summary: This workshop is designed to give parents, or any interested party, a basic knowledge of the special education process. For parents who have never been to an IEP meeting or who have attended an IEP meeting feeling ill-prepared and unsure of themselves, this is a great workshop to start preparing you to be an informed partner in developing your child’s IEP.
