Summary:
As prom night and graduation approach, parents may have concerns about their teens’ ability to make wise decisions regarding alcohol and drugs. One way for parents to help teens make safe decisions is to have signed contracts covering such situations. Kevin White, Sheriff’s Department and Marty Brown, Catoctin High School Resource Officer, Project 103, will help parents develop contracts and have other helpful suggestions. As many teens experiment with drugs and alcohol in middle school, this program would be useful for their parents as well. The program is co-sponsored by Families Plus! and the Catoctin Area Community Agency School Services (CASS). (Training credit is available for foster parents.)
