FEBRUARY
Children from Changing Families. Tuesdays, February 28- May 8, 2012, 6:30-7:30 p.m. *Fee: $40.00
Location: 35 East Church Street, Hahn Building, Street level entrance, Frederick, MD 21701
This ten-week support group is for children, ages 6-12 years, whose families have undergone a significant change due to loss of a family member or close friend, divorce/ separation, new marriage, and other major life changes. Facilitated by a local school counselor, the program is designed to help children manage and cope with their families' changes.

MARCH
Nutrition & Obesity. Thursday, March 15, 2012, 6:00-7:30 p.m. *No Fee
Location: C. Burr Artz Public Library, Community Room, 110 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701
A one-evening program dedicated to teaching correct nutrition and its importance in the fight against obesity. Led by Emily Boulin, a Community Health Advocate with Priority Partners, this program focuses on healthy eating, correct nutrition and how it can ward off the harmful effects of obesity.

Teen Childbirth Education & Infant Care. Wednesdays, March 7 - 28, 2012,
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. *No Fee
Location: Family Partnership, 8420 Gas House Pike, Suite EE, Frederick, MD 21701
A four-week class designed to teach young pregnant women, teen to 21 years of age, on all aspects of delivery, postpartum, and infant care. *The funding for the program is through a grant from the Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County. Registration required, call 301/600-3472.

Strengthening Your Marriage. Thursdays, April 12 - May 3, 2012, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. *Fee: $100.00 per couple.

A four-week support group that will guide couples in to identifying ways they can enjoy a fulfilling marriage.
